spring, but came back with a full group and very competitive cars. 3 of the best cars in the feature belonged to these guys.
Lucky for the rest of the compition, mechanical woo's got them after all three got into the top 10. The R&R guys came

Shannon Smith pulled out the victory in his first ever AutoCross event. The feature was set for 15 laps. The Front
row was made up of Shannon Smith and Chris Perry. These 2 drivers ran side by side for the first half of the race, swapping
the lead 2 to 3 times per lap, all with 3rd place right on there tail. As the leader caught traffic Perry got loose
and fell back to 3rd place. Smith led the trio across the finish line with Cross finishing 2nd and Perry 3rd.
Brad Bex Finished 4th and Allen Cox rounded out the top 5. Leg #2 of the Indiana AutoCross Series
went to the Johnson County Fairgrounds on 7/23. Heat race #1 was won by last weeks winner Shannon Smith. Heat
#2 was won by the WILD MAN Marty Turner. For there victories the 2 drivers earned front row starting spots in the feature.
Right before the drop of the green flag, Marty Turner blew a radiator hose and was forced to leave the track. This extra
time allowed Chris Perry just enough time to fix his car to make the feature. The race was wild, beating and banging
all around the track. Shannon smith jumped out to the early lead, and held that position until lap 8 when Allen cox
and smith got together. Cox emerged with the lead, and smith fell out of the top 5. On lap 9, 2nd place in point
FlatLiner Cross, was hit in the side and rolled over. the car broke an axle and was unable to return, Cross was away
unsaved. The race restarted with Cox in first and Brad Bex in 2nd. Bex never got close enough to take the lead
from Cox. This race was a double points night, The win boosted Allen Cox to the points lead. Brad Bex sets 2nd

 Mark Hommel Wins Johnson
County Championship! Mark Hommel DOMINATED the Johnson County Fair this week. Mark won on
Friday night and took home a very hard fought 3rd place on Saturday. The real story was his close victory on Saturday.
The final 3 cars were getting hung up on each other, and it ended with Toast getting hung on Hommel and Tony Dunn making the
final tap to win. Toast took home 2nd in the county Championship by a very slim margin over Jason Jarbo. We still
have not figured out how Jason was able to get that car back to the track on Saturday, let alone get another 10 finish.
Hommel's weekend of dominance has spring boarded him up to 2nd place, a slim 40 points behind point leader Rondal Parton.

feature, but only 17 were able to make it back to the track. The Silver #77 of Rondal Parton came out on top. We had
to go back to the video to find 2nd place. It was determined that the 412 of Joe Woodward made the next hit. The

Marion County Rules Released!!!!! Rouse Promotions has teamed up with the Franklin
Township Lions Club to put on the Marion County Fair Demolition Derby. This derby has constantly been one of the largest
derbies in the State of Indiana. This event is the largest fund raiser for the Franklin Township Lions Club, they use
the money to fund several youth based projects there in the community.
This derby will
not use our normal rules. This derby requires cars to be "Bone Stock". The
derby is designed to allow drivers a very quick and simple build. This derby is also geared towards new drivers that
do not have experience building demolition derby cars. Look for more information to come on this show.
Click here to view 2009 rules. New Question and Answer Page Many questions are starting to come in daily as drivers are getting thier 2009 machines ready for battle. So
we have decided to start a question and answer page. As people call in to ask questions we will be posting them here
on the sight. The answers here will be applied to everyone. We will have this page with us in the tech line. Any
of you that have called will notice that I check with my tech inspectors before the final answer is given. Some times
this takes a day or 2. hopefully by posting the questions on here we can speed up the answer time for everyone.
Also please remember you can always email the inspectors directly. There link is posted at the bottom of the rules page

Hamilton Co. vs Boone Co
Jay Anderson and JR Rouse have teamed up to reward the drivers that are running all of our shows in Lebanon and Noblesville.
Each venue will host 2 events during the 2009 season. Jay and i sat down to talk at the end of last season, we both recognize
that our core group of drivers are the same for these 2 venues. We decided to try to do something to reward these drivers.
Easiest way is to create a mini point series between the 2 venues. The guys down at Thorntown Auto Salvage loved the idea.
They helped make it possible for us to reward the winner of the series a fresh 1992 Lincoln Town Car. We have a few more ideas
and prizes still to come!
The first event will be held at the Hamilton County Fair Grounds on May 16th. The 2nd
event will be during the Boone County Fair on July 25th. The 3rd event will go back to the Hamilton County Fair grounds on
August 8th. The Final Event will be held at the Boone County Fairgrounds in September ( date will be announced soon)! These
are the only events that will reward points for the car. If another even is scheduled in these counties or at the venues it
will NOT count. | ROUSE PROMOTIONS: JR ROUSE 765-238-8012 Site updated 08/06/09
