1. Can
doors be welded solid? A: YES

Can I pitch the front of my car it is not a Ford? A: Yes
3. My Square tubing is 4x2 can i use it? A: Yes you may us anything up to 4in wide
4. Can I put a 9in rearend in a GM? A: Yes no converting coil spring cars to leafs
5. How many Leafs can my wagon have? A:7. On leaf spring cars, no more than 7 per side
and no wider than 2-½ inches. No Flat springs. Factory Stagger. No leafs on top of main leaf. No leafs thicker than
1/4in. 8. Only 3 leaf clamps per side. These clamps can be no wider than 3 inches and leafs cannot be welded together.
6. What do you mean by loading a bumper? A: We allow you to put anything you need to
strengthen your bumper on the inside of fresh bumpers. We have worked with guys that have prerun bumpers by allowing
them to put a piece of angle iron on the back skin. This is an effort to save drivers money.
7. Is there a tire rule? A: No studded tires

out my fire wall for Dist. clearance? A: Yes but must cover hole with floor mat to protect against
hot fluids

14. My body mount is rusted out, can I fix it? A: You can
weld a 3 inch washer on top of it to fix it.
15. Can I run an electric fan?
A: Yes
16. Can I run an engin cradle? A:
Yes as long as it does not strengthen the frame in any way.
17. Can I run
a distributor protector? A: Yes It can not strengthen the car
18. Where
do you measure the space from the Dist. prot. to the firewall? A: The center of the firewall.
Basically right in the center of the area where the tranny tunnel conects to the firewall. We will use a 6in steel block,
if it hits your bar, you must cut it. ANY PART OF THE BAR.
19. Can I strengthen
my tie rods? A: Yes
20. I have a rust hole in my a-arm,
can I fix it? A: Yes
21. Can I run solid front suspension?
A: Yes You may bolt the front suspension solid with one 1/2 bolt per side.
The head of the bold may be welded to the frame.
22. Can I run a Ford bumper
on a GM? A: Yes
23. Can I strengthen my control arms? A: Yes
24. Can I extend the bolts in the Idler arm to go all the
way thru the frame? A: NO that would be considered a Pin

I v'd my trunk lid, but the quarter panel riped up by the back window, can I fix it? A: NO.
no patch or weld on the rear post unless it is rusted out. Rips are not rust.

together? A: Yes 8. No bolting or welding of body
panels together, with the exception of fender wells. Fender wells may be bolted together using 4 bolts 5/16ths
or smaller.
37. My quarter panel has rusted away from
the trunk pan, can I patch that? A: Yes

39. Can I use square tubing in place of my bumper shock?
A: Yes can not be any longer than factory shocks.

strap there? A: Yes for safety only not to strengthen the car.

NO
52. The rules say I can bolt my arms down, can that bolt go all
the way thru the fram? A: NO that would be considered a pin and car will be loaded.

i run over sized washers in the frame? A: NO Body mount washers cannot
exceed 4x4
56. Ford: Can I put an 03 front clip in an older car? A:
NO 2003 and newer Fords must remain factory

all thread for my back to body mounts? A: You can cut all thread down to bolt size, all thread many
not connect to any other body pannel.
58. Can I
run an oldstyle cross member in a newstyle car? A: Yes, cross member only, other pieces that attatch
to the cross member may not be transfered.
59. I am going to run a partial
hood. Instead of cutting that hood down, can I fold it in half or thirds? A: Yes, hood must cover
the fan.
60. Can I fold my trunk lid in half? A:
Yes you can
61. Can I use rebar instead of strap to weld
my trunk shut? A: Yes

lugs off of an 8lug rearend and run? A: NO

E85 Fuel? A: You can run any fuel that burns with color.

Can I leave the gas tank in a wagon if I cut a hole in it? A: NO all gas tanks must be removed.

You can weld sheet metal back ingo the gap to reattach the 2 or 9wire them together.
68. I have a skin bumper can I weld plate to the back side of the skin?
Yes

72: Can I run my door bars on the floor? NO they will not be protecting what they are inted to protect.

NO, No aditional resivors may be added to the cooling system

75: My car has no speaker deck, how can I attach the front of the trunk lid to the car? You can
only weld the trunk lid to the speaker pannel. You are allowd 1 piece of all thread in the trunk.
76: Can my 1 piece of all thread in the trunk go thru the frame?
NO
77: Patch rule say 4x6 can i use 3x8?
NO rule is 4x6 maximum, you can go smaller but not bigger
78: I am 14 year old can I run? Contact JR Rouse age requirments are set up by the fairboards.
14 and up can run at Noblesviile, Rushville, Franklin, and Scottsburge for sure.
79: My car is painted black, do i have to repaint it? No, we only have rules
against paint skemes for indoor shows.

Can I run tractor tread tires? Yes any tire
81: Can I run bead locks?
No bead locks (bead locks are the 2 peice metal rings that bolt to the wheel and tire.
82: Do you consider self tapping screws as bead locks? Self tapping screws are legal to
run. Cheap and easy.
83. Can I put a wagon rear clip under a sedan (refering
to oldstyle cars)? No that would be considered coil to leaf conversion
84. Can I run my gas line under the car? NO unsafe

Can I uses 3x3 square tubing to weld my trunk shut with? NO
